This is the first book of the Avatar series. I love this comic series! It's filled with action and comedy which makes the story interesting and fun to follow!

"The Carnivorous Carnival" is the ninth installment in the "A Series of Unfortunate Events Series." In this novel, three orphans, the Baudelaire children, are once again on the endeavor of escaping from the vile Count Olaf who is after their money. In this novel, Count Olaf has an entourage, making the experiences of the Baudelaires even more arduous. This novel, as per the title, features a carnival where the Baudelaires attempt to disaffiliate themselves from Count Olaf. This novel is unequivocally dark and maintains a despondent atmosphere. Just like the other titles in this series, this novel is enticing, intriguing, and beautifully crafted. I unreservedly recommend this novel!

Blue exorcist Is an action manga! This manga is such a fun read because it is very engrossing but at the same time very comedic which make the story super enjoyable! This is a great book for people who love action and manga!

"The Grim Grotto" is the eleventh installment in the "A Series of Unfortunate Events" series. In this novel the Baudelaire children, as per usual, are still attempting to escape the vicious and cunning Count Olaf. Count Olaf is on the mission to procure the Baudelaire fortune. This book features a submarine which brings even more tension into the lives of the Baudelaires. I unreservedly recommend this book due to the charming protagonists and enticing plot!

This was an amazing book! This book talks about the hardships of dealing with an eating disorder as well as being haunted by the ghost of her dead best friend. This book was amazing because it brings the reader face to face with the reality of having an eating disorder. I also think the book feels a bit horror like because of her best friend's ghost haunts her thought the story. I really loved this book!

In the book We Dream of Space by Erin Entrada Kelly, the main characters are three siblings named Cash, Fitch, and Bird. Cash is 13 and is the oldest and Fitch and Bird are 12-year-old twins. As the Challenger shuttle launch is yet to come each of the siblings deal with their own problems. Fitch has a temper problem, Cash is about to fail 7th grade, Bird always is getting lectured about dieting, and their parents are almost always in a fight. When the disaster happens they have to figure out how to deal with their problems together, not separately like they always have.

The book The One and Only Ivan by Katherine Applegate is about a showcase silver-backed gorilla named Ivan who lives in a mall and does shows. He was taken from his family in the jungle. Ivan loves his commercial life, until Ruby the baby elephant comes along. Ivan wants to make things right and better for Ruby.

"Contagion" is a coalition of sci-fi and horror. This novel follows characters who embark on a grisly mission on a planet. However, they are faced with a gruesome reality: there are dead bodies scattered on the planet. This book is perfect for those who like reading novels with a sinister atmosphere, but I personally was not too invested in it. However, the writing was great! I enjoyed the small romance storyline.

"Divergent" is a dystopian novel that features a dystopian society that has been divided into five distinct factions. Each section has different characteristics. The protagonist, Tris, ends up in the faction named "Dauntless." This society and characters in this book are marvelously written. I unreservedly recommend this novel to those who are fond of the dystopian genre!
