The book Amal Unbound is about a young girl named Amal who lives in a small village Pakistan. This book helps shine light and bring awareness to oppression to woman in Pakistan and other countries. Amal’s dream is to become a school teacher and she loves learning. One day she goes shopping in the village grocery area and a car accidentally hits her. The car belongs to one of the most powerful, respected families in the area. Amal unwittingly disrespect the man who came out of the car, who happens to be Jawad Sahib; whom loaned money to Amal’s father. Instead of paying back his loan, Jaws Sahib offers him for Amal to become a servant at his palace instead. She is unwillingly forced to work at his house with little or no communication with her family back home.

This book is a retelling of Disney's "Frozen." Readers will encounter the same character that are manifested in the original movie: Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff. In this showcasing, Anna and Elsa are separated and do not know each other. This book is unequivocally unique. The idea of taking an indisputably popular film and transforming it into a new story is genius! I like how this book retains a Disney-esque feel. I indubitably recommend this novel to all who are a fan of "Frozen."

In the book the Pashmina by Nidhi Chanani, is a graphic novel about an Indian-American teenage girl named Priyanka and her mom´s relationship with each other. Priyanka (Pri) asks her mom a whole lot of questions about their home roots and her father. One day she finds a beautifully embroidered Pashmina shawl and she puts it on then she gets magically imported to India where she sees and learns about her background roots. After that she has an even stronger urge to go, so she wins an art competition and brings her and her mom to India and she learns her history and her true identity

This classic novel follows children who becomes stranded on an island after experiencing a tumultuous plane crash. Being away from civilization and not having to act under the subservience of adults, the children now have the liberation to act as they please. The children are put to the ultimate test of survival. This book evinces various themes that manifest the innate nature of humans as well as the loss of innocence. The characters are all wonderfully crafted. I think that this book is a must-read for all teens and adults alike looking to learn unequivocally valuable lessons.

"The Prisoner of Azkaban" is the third installment in the "Harry Potter" series. Once again, readers will be able to follow familiar characters: Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley. It is Harry's third year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and unbenownst to him, he has a godfather, Sirius Black, who is locked away in a grisly prison known as Azkaban. I absolutely love how this book showcases the growth of each character. Compared to the fist two books, this one manifests more mature themes while also showcasing recurring themes of friendship and family. I recommend this book to those who are fond of the fantasy genre!

I thought this was a really good book. And it was the type of book I’ve never read before. It describes a completely different type of society.
