book cover

This short story follows the same characters from the novel "Love From A to Z," Adam and Zayneb. In this charming recount, Adam and Zayneb are set to be married on the holiday of Eid. Both characters devise a gift for each other, as per the title, in preparation for their marriage, unknowingly. Essentially, readers will embark on the novel chapter of the characters' lives and heightened romance. This fast-paced, endearing novel brought about emotions of jubilance and ebullience. The characters of this novel make it what it is; Adam and Zayneb's romance is unreservedly heartfelt. I prodigiously recommend this to anyone who is looking for an adorable romance story!

"The Carnivorous Carnival" is the ninth installment in the "A Series of Unfortunate Events Series." In this novel, three orphans, the Baudelaire children, are once again on the endeavor of escaping from the vile Count Olaf who is after their money. In this novel, Count Olaf has an entourage, making the experiences of the Baudelaires even more arduous. This novel, as per the title, features a carnival where the Baudelaires attempt to disaffiliate themselves from Count Olaf. This novel is unequivocally dark and maintains a despondent atmosphere. Just like the other titles in this series, this novel is enticing, intriguing, and beautifully crafted. I unreservedly recommend this novel!

This dystopian novel takes place in a heinous and colorless society that has virtually eradicated the freedom of choice. Even one's spouses are chosen. One notable thing is that citizens may be "released" through artificial means. In other words, the odious society kill individuals that are deemed as frivolous. This book is indisputably an amazing read. The intricacy in this crafted society is amazing. I furthermore love the ambiguous ending. I unreservedly recommend this novel!

"The Vile Village" is the seventh installment in the "A Series of Unfortunate Events" series. In this book, three orphans, the Baudelaire children, make a reappearance. In this novel, they are sent to a village in order to be safeguarded and experience utter comfort. However, the village that they arrive in is far from cordial. The place seems despondent and heinous. As per usual, Count Olaf makes a reemergence as he's still trying to procure and seize the exorbitant quantity of money left behind by the parents of the Baudelaire's. This book is unequivocally enthralling. The solid plot is accompanied by wonderfully crfated characters are marvelous writing. I prodigiously recommend this title!

"P.S. I Still Love You" is the sequel to "To All The Boys I've Loved Before." Readers will encounter the same characters featured in the first book such as Peter and Lara. However, a new character makes an entry: John Ambrose. John was one of Lara's crushes when she was younger. When Lara was younger, she inscribed love letters to her crushes, but she never actually mailed them out. Unbenownst to her, in the first book, her sister, Kitty, mails the letters out. After a series of unprecedented events, she ends up dating her crush, Peter, as he had procured the letter. Now that John has received Lara's letter and has made a reappearance in her life, tension is sure to brew. This book is amazing. Once again, the characters are marvelously written and the plot is solid. This is the perfect feel-good book. If you are fond of the romance genre, I unreservedly recommend this title!

It S Kind Of A Funny Story By Ned Vizzini

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It touched on some very serious yet common topics many people face especially in high school. It is a great eye opener to mental health issues especially clinical depression in teenagers. It has a good ending and it made me happy to see Craig’s character development throughout the story. The side characters were very well written as well. I would recommend this book to older teens as it may be a little vulgar and younger kids may not understand it as well.

A Series of Unfortunate Events: The Wide Window
by Lemony Snicket

"The Wide Window" is the third installment in the "A Series of Unfortunate Events" series. In this book, three orphans, the Baudelaire children, will now have to live with their aunt Josephine. Aunt Josephine seems to be scared of practically everything. Although it may seem like these children are safeguarded, the cunning and malevolent Count Olaf has concocted plans to ruin their comfort by stealing the Baudelaire fortunate. The Baudelaire fortune was money left behind by the Baudelaire's parents. This book, just like the other books in this series, is beautifully written. The characters are charming and it's fun to read about their harrowing adventure. Be prepared to witness an odious and despondent atmosphere. I unreservedly recommend this book!
